Rene Pedrayes

Mr. Pedrayes began his career with Wackenhut in 1985 as a security officer. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to personnel manager/trainer for the Miami Area office. Over the years his career success continued upward, as he was promoted to manager, operations at headquarters. In August of 1988, Mr. Pedrayes was promoted to General Manager, Miami Area office.

Mr. Pedrayes has been a recipient of the following awards: Manager of the Quarter 1989; Manager of the Quarter 1990; Best Performance over Budget 1990; Largest Percentage Increase in Profit 1990; Largest Percentage Increase in Sales 1990.

Mr. Pedrayes was named “Area Manager of the Year” in 1990; Manager of the Quarter 1991 and 1992. As Area Manager, Mr. Pedrayes has been the recipient of the Gold Club every consecutive year. He has attained “Platinum Club status in 1992 through 2004. This award is in special recognition for outstanding performance, and profits in excess of $1 million.

In October of 2004, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Florida. He is currently responsible for all security services and development efforts for ten (10) offices in the Florida Region. Mr. Pedrayes is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and Dade County Chiefs of Police, and Homeland Security, West Palm Beach, Florida.
